Astryd Business Consultancy was launched in January 2008. Really this section should be named "All about me".

My name is Debra Turnbull and I started Astryd Business Consultancy. The past few years have been very exciting and challenging working as a Director with other companies.

However, this year I decided to launch something of my own in an area that I am very passionate about - which is working with other businesses that are starting up and need marketing /business help and advice.

My career background has been very varied which has given me exposure in newspaper advertising, travel and estate agency, chamber of commerce, yellow pages, and HR . In these industries I have been involved in project management, marketing and advertising work, Call centre management, recruitment and selection.

I was fortunate enough to spend 2 years in Melbourne, Australia to expand my business exposure working voluntarily with the local playgroup, with time to spend researching best business practices and studying 2 business courses at their University.

I am a Mum with two young children and a puppy Weimaraner so understand fully what is is like to juggle the home life with running your own business.
